It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and Board President, Charlie Hounchell.

Charlie was a beloved member of the Tampa Bay community and a dedicated supporter of the arts. Known for his generous spirit, Charlie’s legacy will live on in the many causes that he championed, most notably the TBBCA’s High School Art Stars Scholarship program, which he founded in 2007. We offer our deepest sympathies to his partner, Stephen Gay, and his family; our hearts and prayers are with them.

If you would like to pay your respects, the family has requested that a donation be made to The Charlie Hounchell Art Stars Scholarship in lieu of flowers. Donations can be sent to the TBBCA at P.O. Box 559, Tampa, FL 33601. Please note "In Memory of Charlie" in the memo.
