Lori Zudell with Firm Solutions serves as board member of Artists Unlimited, a studio complex housing approximately thirty local artists. With the collaboration of employees, her firm purchases art works from Artists Unlimited to decorate corporate offices. The firm also buys art gift certificates to give to clients, holds corporate meetings at the studios and encourages employees to serve as volunteers.

"Promoting the arts within our organization has boosted morale, engaged staff creativity, beautified our workplace, and shown a unique side of us to our clients. The arts have become an important asset to leverage, especially during these uncertain economic times."

- Lori Zudell,
Founder & Owner

Westshore Plaza incorporated the arts into a yearlong marketing campaign. The company commissioned an artist to create a watercolor to use as the design for prints, tote bags and baseball caps. It also mounted an exhibition of watercolor paintings which was on display at the mall for several months. As an accompaniment, Westshore Plaza hosted performances by the Florida Youth Orchestra, The Florida Orchestra Brass Quintet, Tampa Bay’s Kuumba Dancers and Drummers and The Ballet Society of Tampa.

“WestShore Plaza has a great appreciation for the arts. Throughout the years, we have welcomed a variety of wonderful art and photography exhibits, and performances by aspiring dancers and musicians. These events and activities are a treat for our shoppers, and we are pleased to offer a community forum for these local artists to express their skills.”

- Tara Martin Waterston,
Marketing Director

Jerry Baranowski of King Engineering Associates, Inc. formed a partnership with Artists Unlimited, Inc. to celebrate the firm’s 20th anniversary. With the help of employee volunteers, the engineering firm built an outdoor sculpture garden with pathways, landscaping and benches for visitors. Because the design work and labor were done by employees, there were minimal costs for King Engineering The garden provides a green haven in the midst of the Channelside District.

" By helping to improve local culture through the arts we are helping to attract new potential employees to the area. Getting involved with Artists Unlimited Sculpture Garden gave us an opportunity to create green space in an urban area and add a cultural facility not currently available in the Tampa Bay area."

- Jerry Baranowski,
Chief Financial Officer
